If you use Internet Explorer you will notice that your favorties do not stay alphabetized. I have noticed this as a s problem when all of my favorites folders are no longer in order. This is really easy to fix.
- Open up the file explorer and click on to the 'c:\Documents and Settings\user' folder. Then just copy the favorites folder and paste to another folder (c:\temp is my personal choice).
- Next click on the 'c:\Documents and Settings\user\favorites' folder and delete all the folders and files under it.
- Next open and close Internet Explorer.
- Finally, copy the favorites folder from the temporary location and paste it into the 'c:\Documents and Settings\user' folder. Your done. The next time you use Internet Explorer your favorites should be organized. If they are not repeat this procedure and it should work. It does for me.
